Nurturing Nannies (NN) was founded by an engineer and entrepreneur who also happens to be a single father of two wonderful children. He didn't feel comfortable with leaving his two children at a day care facility all day or after school when they both had a place that they love and call HOME. Moreover, he felt that a single caregiver could not provide enough of the nurturing attention that a child needs to develop emotionally when each care giver is responsible for numerous children, usually ten or more. Accordingly, the idea of Nurturing In-home Child Care intuitively came into his mind either for Full-Time or Part-Time Assistance . However, after doing his research, he was disappointed with his options, because none of the currently available providers could then be perceived to be safe or nurturing to his two lovely kids. Accordingly, he started to work on an approach to allow parents who are in similar situations to have peace of mind when they need assistance with child care via a support system that he named NN (Nurturing Nannies).
